TUBULAR RIVET

A TUBULAR RIVET is a permanent fastening component with a through-hole running along the shank. During installation, it is inserted through aligned holes in the workpieces, and the tail end is then flared or deformed by pressing, orbital riveting, rolling, or expanding to securely join two or more components. Compared with a solid rivet, a TUBULAR RIVET is lighter in weight and generally requires less force to form during riveting.

Easier Rivet Forming

The hollow tubular wall can be flared or rolled more easily under pressure, reducing the force required during riveting. This makes TUBULAR RIVETS suitable for thin sheet materials and precision component assemblies.

Lightweight Structure

The hollow design reduces material usage and overall component weight, making it suitable for products where lightweight construction is important.

Maintains a Central Through-Hole

After riveting, the center hole can remain open for wire routing, ventilation, drainage, or use with pins and other components.

Multiple Head Types and Materials Available

Different head styles, dimensions, and metal materials can be selected according to appearance, strength, electrical conductivity, and corrosion-resistance requirements.

Suitable for Precision Component Assembly

TUBULAR RIVETS are commonly used in electronic products, home appliances, lighting fixtures, hardware products, stationery, leather goods, toys, automotive and motorcycle components, and mechanical assemblies.
