S-RING

An S-RING is a retaining component formed from elastic wire into an S-shaped, wave-shaped, or double-bend configuration. It uses its own spring force to engage with a shaft, pin, linkage, or specified groove, helping limit component movement, prevent disengagement, and provide auxiliary retention. The actual shape and installation method can be customized according to the mating structure.

Elastic Snap-Fit Retention

The S-shaped curved structure provides spring-back force. Once installed in the groove or mating position, it can continue applying clamping force to help maintain secure retention.

Simple Installation

Most S-RING designs can be inserted from the side without requiring threads, nuts, or complex fastening components, helping shorten the assembly process.

Prevents Components from Becoming Detached

An S-RING can limit axial or lateral movement of pins, shafts, linkages, and other components, helping reduce the possibility of loosening or disengagement during operation.

Adaptable to Various Installation Spaces

Wire diameter, bending angle, opening size, and overall shape can be customized according to equipment structure, making S-RINGS suitable for limited spaces or non-standard retaining positions.

Convenient for Maintenance and Removal

S-RINGS can generally be installed and removed using common tools or dedicated fixtures. They are commonly used in machinery, automotive and motorcycle components, electronic equipment, furniture hardware, and linkage mechanisms.
